Dan Schott uses both sides of his brain to create and manage marketing communication that works. A former director of marketing, creative director, brand manager and educator, Dan has raised brand awareness and preference for consumer and trade brands alike. He uses solid strategic plans with smart mixes of product development, promotions, advertising, public relations and events to raise awareness, build preference or beat traffic to the point of sale.

Dan enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for brilliant communication with customers, team members and students. In 2013, Dan Schott and co-advisor Kathy Callahan coached a team of University of Nevada Las Vegas students from the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies to win the National Student Advertising Competition District 15 Championship, presented by the American Advertising Federation. UNLV’s team beat out California powerhouses USC, UCLA and Chapman University.

Married and raising four children near Portland, Oregon, Dan is active in his community and enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest.
